From an overweight boy to a competitive athlete. From a university dropout to a successful serial founder. From collapse to the Whole Human Map. This is the full story.
My older brother called me ‘Fetti-Fettsack’. I had to repeat two years at school. At 13, I discovered strength training and nutrition – and experienced for the first time what happens when you stop accepting your role and start building it.
The boy became a competitive athlete: handball up to Germany’s youth Bundesliga, trained by professional coaches in athletic performance and nutrition. My obsession with the human body has never left me since I was 13 – it later evolved into health optimisation, longevity and cell biology. It also taught me the most important lesson of my life: reinvention is not a question of talent. It is a skill.

Chapter 2 · The founder
Going all in
In 2018, I left my working-student role in M&A at SAP and dropped out of the University of Mannheim to become an entrepreneur. My first two attempts – a supplement brand and a gaming start-up – failed.
Then came the big breakthrough in 2021: I co-founded Germany’s first digital energy consultancy and raised outside capital. During fundraising, a seasoned late co-founder with exit and venture-capital experience joined the company. He took over day-to-day operations as CEO – and I became COO.

Chapter 3 · The wrong role
Successful on paper. Miscast in life.
I am not an operations person. I am a visionary and I love working with people. In the COO role, I bled every day. At the end of 2022, I stepped away from day-to-day operations, moved from Munich to Berlin and immediately founded the next start-up. Once again, it was operations-heavy. This time bootstrapped, with debt.
Then everything collapsed at once: my Berlin apartment turned out to be a scam – from one day to the next, I had no home. For months, I moved between friends’ sofas in Berlin and Hamburg while keeping an operating business alive. There was nothing left for relationships, friends or a life of my own. Not even enough money to take part in social occasions.

Chapter 4 · The breaking point
I thought I had done everything right
Ice baths, sauna, training, nutrition – I had optimised everything that could be optimised. In August 2023, I still collapsed and could no longer keep going. Today I know why: I had optimised the right things in the wrong dimensions, while the real bottlenecks – role, relationships, environment and direction – were bleeding out.
I closed everything down, moved back in with my parents and sold shares to buy the most important thing there is: time.
What followed was not a sabbatical. It was systematic work on one question: what truly makes a person come alive? I lived with the Shipibo in the Peruvian Amazon for three months and learned how they work with the mind. I climbed Kilimanjaro – and at 5,000 metres nearly died from pneumonia. An emergency descent, alone, with no help anywhere nearby. For a moment, you think: this is it. Experiences like that reorder what matters.
At the same time: HBOT, cell therapy, nervous-system work, depth psychology and consciousness research – the whole range from modern science to centuries-old traditions. Not as escapism. As field research on my own system.

Chapter 6 · The new chapter
Returning to what I had always done out of love
In January 2026, I sold additional shares to OBI in a secondary transaction. Then I answered the question so many people struggle with after a sale: what now? The answer lay in what I had always done on the side – for pure joy, never for money: reading people. Developing people. Helping people move forward.
I coached a youth Bundesliga team in athletic performance and supported professional athletes in nutrition and training while building companies. As a coach, mentor and friend, I always came alive. Reading people and finding the point where they were stuck came naturally to me. Today, that is exactly my profession: eight years of entrepreneurship, more than 20 years of sport and three years of reconstruction became the Whole Human Map – the method I use to guide people like you through their reinvention.

My vision
The state you lead from becomes the environment others work in.
I believe regulation moves through an organisation. A regulated entrepreneur or leader makes clearer, more conscious decisions. Those decisions shape structures, communication and culture – and therefore the everyday experience of every employee.
Regulated entrepreneurs build more regulated companies. Companies where people do not have to operate in a constant state of alert, but can work with clarity, responsibility and genuine connection.
When an entrepreneur acts from clarity, energy and connection, they are not the only one who benefits. It shapes teams and company cultures – and reaches employees, their families, customers, partners and communities far beyond the organisation itself.
Enabling World Changers begins with the human being behind what they create.
